Yay, Hooray! I received a GOLEN TICKET to the new Holey Donuts store opening here in New York! Donuts are no longer a guilty pleasure thanks to Holey Donuts–Specializing in Ultra Low Fat Gourmet Donuts! Holey Donuts have been featured on the Today Show, ABC News, NBC, CNBC: The Big Idea, Time Magazine, Glamour, and the New York Post. My Golden Ticket brought me lots of luck today! I had the opportunity to meet Holey Donuts CEO, Frank DiLullo! He is super friendly and seemed very excited about opening his first store! Most importantly, Frank is in great shape and it’s nice to see the owner of the healthy donut shop promoting good health!
So, what’s so wonderful about these donuts? I know what you’re thinking “healthy donuts?? Yeah right!!” I promise, it’s true! Holey Donuts are not fried, have 3 to 5 grams of fat and half the calories of traditional donuts! Holey Smokes 🙂 Plus, they are delicious with a dough-like consistency and the perfect amount of sweetness! Yummy!!!
Previously, Holey Donuts was based solely online through web-based orders but are opening their first brick & mortar store in West Village (101 7th Av. South)! Donuts will sell for around $4 each and there are lots of sweet flavors to choose from! If you don’t live in New York you can purchase donuts online at www.holeydonuts.net!
The pink-lady staff helped me select my donut flavors and then added the fillings, icing, and sprinkles right in front of me!
