New Yorkers across the city braced for the epic snowstorm forecasted to bring between 2-3 feet of snow! Surprisingly, even seasoned city slickers began heeding the storm warnings! Grocery store lines swelled and crowds started leaving work in droves. And then…for the first time in New York’s history-the MTA completely shut down due to snow. All roadways were closed after 11:00 PM (excluding service vehicles) and soon the “city that never sleeps” became unusually quiet!
Even though the storm brought much less snow than expected, it was fun to see the city in such a uniquely sleepy state. Plus, there was still enough snow to have a fun filled snow day!
