Ekk! Tonight was incredible! We had an absolute blast at the Beat the Streets event in Times Square! Team USA vs. the World international wrestling dual! Beat the Streets is a non-profit organization working with at-risk youth in all five boroughs of NYC that uses wrestling to encourage young people to achieve their dreams through hard work and dedication.
Big South (my hubby) is a former collegiate wrestler and he was definitely in his element! There was so much excitement and energy in the heart of Times Square watching the wrestling matches! Everyone was cheering loudly for USA!!! Best moment of the night was meeting Cael Sanderson (Olympic Gold Medalist, the ONLY Undefeated 4x NCAA Champion, and Penn State Head Coach)! Plus, I even spotted Marc Consuelos (Kelly Ripa’s husband) from afar!
