New York, New York, It’s A Wonderful Town! One of the best aspects of living in New York City is the vast array of free activities and events open to the public. A great resource for free entertainment in the city is the Apple Store! Who knew? The Apple stores actually host numerous events featuring famous artists, actors, celebrities, and designers!
During Fashion Week, the trendy SoHo Apple store hosted Fashion in Conversation with Manolo Blahnik and he was interviewed by famed Kinvara Balfour.
Manolo was born in Spain, studied art in London and became famous with his unique designs of the stiletto heel. His shoes received more popularity through the television series ‘Sex in the City’ star Carrie Bradshaw and were also seen in the Twilight Series: Breaking Dawn 1, when Bella wore Manolo’s for her wedding.
In person, Manolo Blahnik was quite charming-very personable and even self-deprecating. He is also very witty and had the audience laughing throughout the interview!

1) Sign-up for email notifications to upcoming events
2) Reserve & Confirm attendance online
3) Arrive EARLY for the best seating! Many people arrived right on time and unfortunately had to stand because all the seating was full! The early bird gets the worm!
