Do you need a cup of joe to jump start your day? Do you prefer to support local businesses that give back to charity? If so, you must try Laughing Man (Hugh Jackman’s coffee shop in TriBeCa). I love the concept of Laughing Man Worldwide-100% of the proceeds are reinvested worldwide to assist others in need by furthering community development and entrepreneurial education. Also, the coffee and tea are fair trade organic, helping farmers escape poverty.  Talk about a guilt free caffeine fix! 🙂
Laughing Man is located at 184 Duane Street in TriBeCa and you’ll typically see a line out front. Don’t worry, it’s worth the wait! The shop is itsy bitsy but great things come in small packages, right? Inside, you’ll find a simplistic shop with a small array of coffee, tea, and Hugh Jackman’s personal touches sprinkled throughout. Since Hugh recommends the Flat White, I followed suit and was not disappointed! Plus, the staff is super friendly, coffee is delish, and the fun illustrations are sure to make you smile! I’ve definitely found my new favorite coffee shop in the city!
