Hey Y’all! Happy HUMP Day!
Day 2 of our trip to Louisiana, we spent in Baton Rouge to see the LSU vs. Alabama game!! Despite the late start time (8:00 PM), tailgating started bright and early at 10:00 AM!! Tailgating at a big SEC football game isn’t just old lawn chairs and koozie’s..it’s a grand production! We’re talking tricked out RV’s, catered meals, tents with chandeliers, flat-screen TV’s, and more school spirit than one could imagine! I loved the atmosphere tailgating at LSU-children playing pick-up football games, cowboys roping in bulls, corn-hole games, music blasting, and everyone enjoying themselves!
In the afternoon, we shopped at the bookstore, visited the LSU mascot ‘Mike the Tiger’ and toured the gorgeous campus! We were blessed with a perfect autumn football weather, awesome stadium seats and great memories with amazing friends! It felt so good to be back down south… 🙂
